DEVELOPING: Rescue Dive Team Finds Missing Teen Kiely Rodni in Her Car Upside Down in 14 Feet of Water

Truckee, California – A teenage girl who has been missing for two weeks was found deceased by a rescue dive team on Sunday.

16-year-old Kiely Rodni went missing after a campground party in Lake Tahoe on August 6.

The teen girl had reportedly been drinking with other partygoers when she disappeared.

Kiely Rodni sent her mom a text letting her know that she was on her way home and then she vanished.

The party attendees weren’t much help to police as search teams scoured the area.

A popular YouTube search and rescue dive team said they found Kiely Rodni in her silver Honda CRV, upside down in 14 feet of water in Donner Lake on Sunday afternoon.

The six man rescue team dubbed “Adventures With Purpose” made the announcement on Facebook:

Car is upside down in only 14′ of water.
We have CONFIRMED Kiely is inside.
Family Notified
Law Enforcement on their way.

We will be on scene the rest of the day, will have a live stream tomorrow, and will make an announcement as to what time later this afternoon.
Thank you everyone for your support and donations in getting us here to help Kiely and her family.
